Our South Florida Golf School is hosted at the Hillcrest Golf and Country Club, located between Fort Lauderdale and Miami in Hollywood, Florida. Opened in
1967, the golf course is an ageless Devlin/Von Hagge Design that has matured into a classic layout. In the summer of 2000 famed architect Joe Lee was asked to
redesign Hillcrest Country Club's championship course. While maintaining many of the classic features of the course, Mr. Lee added mounding, new sand traps,
improved tee boxes, new lakes and gave the green complexes a whole new look. Superb drainage allows the course to stay open when many other South Florida
courses need to close due to heavy summer rains. Hillcrest's championship course reopened in May of 2001 to rave reviews. The beautifully maintained Tif-Eagle
greens, lush landscaping and pristine lakes will appeal to all discerning golfers. The par 72 layout measures 7076 from the Championship tees, 6677 from the blue tees,
6270 from the white tees and 5207 from the ladies tees. The signature 18th hole provides an exciting conclusion to your round of golf with an Island Green surrounded
with a bulkhead.
